TWO PLAYERS CALLED UP TO SPAIN NATIONAL TEAM FOR UPCOMING WOMEN'S INTERNATIONALS

Inma Gabarro, Maria Pérez and Toni Payne have all been called up to their national teams for the upcoming international break. Gabarro and Pérez join up with world champions Spain as they enter the last of the group stage of the UEFA Women's Nations League. On Friday 1st December, they travel to Pontevedra to face Italy, before hosting Sweden in Málaga four days later in what is their last game of 2023. The finals of the competition take place in February 2024, with the Paris Olympics also quickly approaching.

Meanwhile, forward Toni Payne has been named in the Nigeria squad that has a double-header against Cape Verde as part of the final round of Africa Cup of Nations qualifying. Their home fixture is on Thursday 30th November, then they play away the following Tuesday.
