Marcos Acuña played 65 minutos in Argentina's 0-1 win over Brasil in Rio de Janeiro. Lionel Scaloni's edged out their fellow South American giants through a Nicolas Otamendi goal in the 62nd minute. Lucas Ocampos was named on the bench and was rested for the entirety of the match as the world champions saw out the victory. 

The result continues their fine start to World Cup 2026 qualification, leaving them with 15 points after six matches.
