On the eve of our away match at Atlético de Madrid, Quique Sánchez Flores is looking for his side to end a torrid run of away results against tomorrow's opponents.

Over fifteen years have passed since the last away league win against Los Colchoneros, a 1-0 win in September 2008, and our new Head Coach is looking to push on after winning his first match in charge, a 3-0 success at Granada on Tuesday.

"I didn't have time to soak up a negative atmosphere, there was only time to do something positive and that's how the lads felt too. We want to keep them emotionally balanced after a good result, but we're aware that we still don't know each other very well. We're looking for a good performance tomorrow at a stadium where we Sevillistas don't have fond memories, so let's see if we can change that too."

"We don't really know why some things turn out like that. Every statistic is there to be changed and broken. We have to be positive without thinking about the past, it doesn't help us, we need to try to play against a team who we've known for twelve years. It's an important test."

"The players have to change their manner, behaviour and confidence, they've already started to do so"

Sánchez Flores also stated that "I have a lot of confidence in the players' ability. They have to change their manner, behaviour and confidence. I know that will happen, I don't know how long it'll take, but they've already started to do so. It's all about making sure they're all feeling good and we're already feeling better."

"We started by reviewing Sevilla's best games this season, with their system and players, and that's how we put together what we thought was best. Sevilla have very good players, but when things aren't going well you have to organise yourselves, concede less and be pragmatic. We want them to play nice football whilst being solid and getting results."

To finish, the Head Coach commented about Marcao: "He made an effort, he wasn't at risk of injury but he played for a few minutes in a comfortable game. We have to get him fit, he hasn't played for a long time and he hasn't had a run of games, but he has a lot of desire. We applaud that and we want a lot of players like him."
