MATEO MEJÍA JOINS SEVILLA ATLÉTICO FROM MANCHESTER UNITED

Colombia U-20s international Mateo Mejía has become the second player to join Sevilla Atlético in this winter transfer window. The 20-year-old, who was born in Spain, signs from Manchester United, after four years in England. 

He initially joined the Red Devils at U-18 level, before making the step up to the U-23s in the 2021/22 season, racking up two goals and four assists in 15 appearances during his first Premier League 2 campaign. 

So far this season, he has played 12 matches, scoring three times and providing five assists. He accepted the call-up for his parents' native Colombia when selected for the U-20s squad for their friendly matches against Peru in December 2022.
