AGREEMENT WITH ALFONSO PASTOR FOR HIS CONTRACT TO BE TERMINATED

We have reached an agreement with Alfonso Pastor over the termination of his contract, which had been due to run until end of the 2025/26 season. The goalkeeper from Córdoba joined the academy at U15 level and rose through the ranks quickly before making his debut for the reserve side in 2018/19. A year later, he was called up to the first team by Julen Lopetegui and was part of the squad that travelled to Germany for the 2020 Europa League final, in which we won our sixth title. In December of the same year he made his first-team debut in a Champions League match against Chelsea FC.

After playing for the reserves in the third tier during the 2021/22 season, Pastor went on loan to CD Castellón and made 37 appearances. We would like to thank Alfonso Pastor and wish him the best with his future endeavours.
