SEVILLA FC SELECTED TO BROADCAST THE 2024 CHINESE SPRING FESTIVAL GALA

We continue to strengthen our ties with China. The club has been making a determined effort towards its internationalisation and to continue creating Sevillistas across the world.  As part of this, the club has been invited by Chinese state broadcaster CMG and its international channel CGTN to broadcast their most important program of the year, the China Spring Festival Gala, on Friday, February 9th.

The television production holds the Guinness World Record for being the most-watched television program in the world. The gala aims to convey the spirit and joy of the New Year celebration among Chinese communities worldwide, and through our agreement with CGTN, aims to help Sevillistas get to know the culture of a country where our fanbase is growing. 

With over 40 years of history, the China Spring Festival Gala will feature music, dance, opera, comedy, and sketches that reflect various aspects of Chinese culture. The club was recently recognised has the fastest-growing European football club in China while also having active footballing programmes through the International School Services. We also have three regional sponsors for the 2023/24 season, 1717, Kubet and Nova 88.
