Sevilla Atlético and Yeclano Deportivo shared the points on our reserve team's visit to the Campo Municipal La Constitución. Against a Yeclano side who have yet to taste defeat at home this season, Jesús Galván's men put in a very solid performance in defence to earn a valuable point against the Murcia side, their closest challengers in the table, and maintain their lead at the top of the table.
Without much danger, it was the home side who had the first chances of a very even first half. Rivera, who fired a shot in the middle of the goal that Zarco blocked without too much trouble, was responsible for most of our chances in the opening stages. Both teams were defensively cautious in the first half and, thanks to a good intervention by Alberto Flores in the last play of the first half after a shot from Tiko Iniesta, the score remained level.
In the second half, our goalkeeper was again in the spotlight as he prevented Salinas from putting the home side ahead. Gabri came midway through the half to make his debut up front as we held on to a draw in the vital game in the title race in Group 4 of the Segunda RFEF. It means we remain alone at the top of the table, and look to extend our lead next weekend against Aguilas FC at the Estadio Jesus Navas.
