After ending March without a win, Betis have won back to back games in April against RC Celta at home at away from home against Valencia CF.

2018/19 was the last time the home side took all three points in a league derby at the Villamarín. Since then there have been two draws and two wins for us, with a 2-1 win in 2019/20 and a 2-0 win in 2020/21 respectively

With Pedrosa, Gudelj, Sow and Óliver Torres ruled out through injury the headline news is the return of Kike Salas from suspension. and Mariano Díaz. Pellegrini is without the injured trio of Bellerín, Bartra y Ávila and has named a 24-man squad for the game.
