UNDER-15S B TEAM WIN IN HUELVA TO BECOME PRIMERA ANDALUZA CHAMPIONS

Little by little the season is coming to an end for our youth teams. Sevilla Atlético, the top of the academy pyramid, won the Segunda RFEF Group 4 last weekend but now it's the Under-15s B Team's turn to celebrate, having won a straight shoot-out against Recreativo de Huelva to become Primera Andaluza champions. 

Coming into the game six points clear at the top of the table, Fran Rubio's side travelled to Huelva knowing that a victory would take them nine points clear with only three games to go. With the goal difference in the Under-15s B Team's favour and a better head-to-head record, they knew that a victory would be enough to become champions. And that is exactly what they did, winning 3-1 thanks to goal sfrom Paulo Vega and Carlos Ortega, as well as an own goal by Carillo.

As would be expected, the players celebrated with their friends and family after the final whistle and were given a commemorative t-shirt. Going unbeaten for the season with 22 victories and five draws, the Under-15s B Team become the sixth academy team to win their league, after Sevilla Atlético, the Under-19s A Team, Under-19s B Team, the Under-15s A Team and the Under-11s A Team.
