SÁNCHEZ FLORES: "THE TEAM HAS GONE UP A GEAR"

First-team head coach, Quique Sánchez Flores, reflected on Sunday night's convincing win against Granada CF after the match: "We played brilliantly in the first half, linking up well and had control in the final third for most of the match. We then had a slight dip just before the break, but we reimposed ourselves in the second half, so ultimately it was a great game for us overall." 

"The team has gone up a level in the last couple of games, showing everyone what they can do and enjoying their football. That is what this club is all about. When things aren't going as well, confidence dropped a bit, but Dodi gave us momentum when he came on. He made a big difference and scored a great goal to round off a big performance."

"Some of the boys have arrived in LALIGA at a difficult time for the club, but now our status in the league is secure, hopefully they can start enjoy their time here a bit more."
