Jesús Navas González is a legend of Spanish football. Yesterday, after starting in Luis de la Fuente's side against France in the semi-finals of the European Championship, our club captain broke a record as he became the second oldest player in the 21st century to play in a European Championship semi-final or final, after Jens Lehmann.

He received a standing ovation from the fans at the Allianz Arena when he was substituted off on the hour mark.

Spain are set to play the winner of the Netherlands and England, next Sunday at 9:00 PM at the Olympic Stadium in Berlin. There Navas could break the goalkeeper's record should he feature.
