FORMER PLAYER MOACIR PASSES AWAY

Moacir Rodrigues dos Santos has died aged 54. He signed for the club in 1994 from Atlético de Madrid in a transfer that saw Diego Simeone move the other way. In total he played 34 games, scoring twice, before returning in 1996 to Atlético Mineiro in his native Brazil.
