Loïc Badé played 120 minutes as France overcame Egypt 3-1 in their Olympic semi-final. The centre-back saw his country come back from a goal down, before winning in extra time. A brace from Jean-Philippe Mateta and a goal from Michael Olise guided them through to the final after Egypt had been reduced to ten men when Omar Fayed was sent off.
Badé, who was yellow-carded, will face Juanlu's Spain on Friday at 18:00 CEST in the battle for gold at Paris 2024.
