JUANLU, PEQUE AND CARMONA TO KICK-START THE INTERNATIONAL BREAK WITH SPAIN UNDER-21S

Our players will be in international action from today onwards

Today, Thursday 10 October, marks the start of the international break for our players. First up are Juanlu, Carmona and Peque, who are all representing Spain Under-21s. They take on Kazakhstan at 20:30 CEST before hosting Malta on Tuesday at 17:00 CEST. Both games are part of the qualifying campaign for the UEFA European Under-21 Championship.

Also, at 20:45 CEST, we will have players in Nations League action. Badé, having been called up to the French squad, has an away match against Israel before taking on Lukébakio's Belgium on Monday. Before then, Belgium face Italy away from home. With regards to Nyland, Norway host Slovenia before travelling to Austria on Sunday.

Overnight, Montiel and Argentina have an away trip to Venezuela as part of FIFA World Cup qualification. The match kicks off at 23:00 CEST. They then host Bolivia next Wednesday at 02:00 CEST. Tomorrow, Nigeria will be in Africa Cup of Nations qualifying action with a home match against Libya at 18:00 CEST. Ejuke and Iheanacho will then travel to Libya for the away fixture, which takes place on Tuesday 15 October at 21:00 CEST. Finally, Agoumé and Nianzou will travel to Cyprus and then Austria with the French Under-21s squad.

While they are away on international duty, García Pimienta and the first-team squad will continue working towards our next league game. Our LaLiga EA Sports Matchday 10 fixture, away to FC Barcelona, kicks off at 21:00 CEST on Sunday 20 October.
