NAVAS: "WHEN WE WERE PUSHING FOR AN EQUALISER THEY SCORED THEIR SECOND AND WE COULDN'T COME BACK"

Jesús Navas, Kike Salas and Isaac Romero spoke after the defeat at home against Real Sociedad. Our captain began by talking about the difficulties after the second goal: "First of all we have to send all our support to Valencia in these difficult times. The penalty made it harder for us and we couldn't come back. When we were pushing for the equaliser, they made it 2-0 and we have to keep working. We have to be stronger at set pieces and we have to learn from our mistakes and now focus on Leganés, as it will also be an important game." 

Kike Salas also said that the match was decided by the small details: "First of all, we want to send a message of support to those affected in Valencia. In terms of the football, it was an important match, decided by small details and we are disappointed, because they didn't have many clear chances and we need to take the chances that we create. We ran a lot, in the second half we had more of the ball, but we have to keep our confidence up. The defeat is collective, Marcao tries to not give a penalty away but the defeat is all of our fault and we are united." 

In closing, striker Isaac Romero also spoke: "We send all the strength in the world to those affected by the flooding. Hopefully, everything will soon get better. As for the match, they were able to take advantage of the chances they had and we, apart from two chances, didn't have much. We should be calm and take our time in the game. Personally, I'm unlucky that I haven't scored but I think the day will come and when it does, I hope it will be one after the other. Hopefully, in Leganés we'll get that chance to get a result."
