The final international break of 2024 is coming to an end with our three under-21 internationals playing their final matches on Tuesday. Lucien Agoumé, who started for France Under-21s in their first match against Italy, came off the bench against Germany in Valenciennes in the 79th minute as a substitute for Valentin Atangana. A late goal from Loum Tchaouna in added time rescued a late 2-2 draw.
Meanwhile, Spain Under-21s sealed victory against Denmark at the Estadio Carlos Belmonte on home soil in Albacete. Juanlu was selected in Santi Denia's starting XI and was involved in the opening goal, as he played a pass to Pablo Torre, who then crossed to Javi Guerra to break the deadlock. Before half time Mateo Joseph made it two and Kike Salas then came on as a substitute at the start of the second half. Juanlu came off in the 73rd minute and Denmark scored a late consolation goal through Chukwuani in the final minute.
