SOW: "THERE WAS PRESSURE TO WIN BUT IT WILL HELP OUR CONFIDENCE"

Goalscorer Djibril Sow was happy with the goal and the win against Rayo:  I'm very happy because we won a difficult and very important match. It's my first goal of the season and I'm very happy. Isaac has done a good job, a great assist and it has also been a good game for him. The situation we are in is not perfect for the team, in the second half it showed and there was pressure to win, but it is a very important victory and I hope it will increase confidence in the following matches. Now we have a long week to work, but it feels good to win." 

Isaac Romero also focused on the importance of winning: “I'm happy for the victory after two consecutive defeats. We had to make the fans happy at home and I'm happy for everyone's work and for being able to help the team score the goal. For me, it's great to hear the fans chanting my name and show that they are with me in these moments when I am not scoring goals. They see that I'm giving everything on the pitch and today I got an assist. There is more joy to come for the fans. I was thinking about the skill and then I saw Sow arriving into the box and we were able to get the goal that got the three points."

As for the backline, Kike Salas also spoke of the importance of winning without conceding: “It was a hard-fought match that we should have managed better with the one-man advantage but we needed the three points and the fans deserved it. I'm gaining confidence, the coach is giving me chances and we have to keep improving every game.
