Adrià Pedrosa, Djibril Sow and Isaac Romero spoke to the media following the draw against Valencia CF. Pedrosa, the goalscorer, started, "I think we deserved more. It wasn't the best game but we were able to equalise and we need to make the point count in the next few games because we have to fight to climb up the league. It felt like we were missing something today. They have just had a new manager, but playing at home we needed to assert a bit more control on the game. We needed to be a bit better from set pieces; they offer a way to settle games. If we want to be higher up the league table, we have to be better. Girona won today and it's always a tricky place to visit, but we will go there looking to get all three points."
Sow then spoke about a slight lack of confidence, despite the second-half improvement. "We made many mistakes during the first half and we weren't brave enough with the ball. We were better in the second and created plenty of chances; it's important that we found the equaliser right at the end. We need to do some work, most of all on managing the play and the possession. When we went forward with intensity you could sense the crowd getting behind us. It's important to play with confidence to get good results. Now it's time to turn our focus to the Girona match. It will be tough away from home, but we certainly have enough quality. Rubén Vargas showed us that he can bring something to the game and Ejuke will be back soon which is exactly what we need."
Isaac: "We deserved that late equaliser"
Finally, striker Isaac Romero gave his verdict. "I thought we were the better team and created the better chances, but the ball seemingly didn't want to go in for us today. But we believed, and we knew that we could get at least a point out of the game. Then we managed to score at the moment we were least expecting it. We deserved that late equaliser. Losing in the Copa del Rey was painful, but we tried to show the fans today that we always give everything we can. On a personal note, it's nice to be back scoring goals. I just needed one to go one for others to follow. I couldn't repeat this today but I did have some good chances. I will keep working hard to improve and help the team any way I can. I want everyone to see that I fight for the badge."
