AKOR: "I AM A TEAM PLAYER, A STRIKER WHO HAS COME TO HELP"

Akor Adams spoke at his official unveiling at the Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán. After his transfer was announced last night the Nigerian spoke to the press and began by thanking the club: “Thank you for the welcome. It has been a very good few days and with many good people. I am very happy to be here. All the negotiations have been with my agent. We know that Sevilla are a great club and I am very happy to have arrived." 

After an exciting start at Montpellier, he is now looking forward: "In football, there are always good and bad moments. I started well there and now I'm here, part of this club. I'm thinking about the future and not the past." He also arrives in a dressing room with two fellow Nigerian players: “I spoke to Ejuke and he told me that I had to come here, that I would love it. Kelechi is a great player and he also told me that. I'm very happy that I listened to them." 

On his playing style he commented: "I am a team player. A well-rounded striker who wants to help. I'm going to give my all and you will see how I play when I get on the pitch." He also revealed that his footballing heroes are Ronaldo Nazario and Didier Drogba. Finally, he referred to the competition in the attack: “The coach will decide who plays and who does not. I can't talk about my teammates because they are giving their all. I'm here to help and to be ready for the coach."
