Kike Salas, Loïc Badé, and José Ángel Carmona spoke to the media after the match against RCD Mallorca. The goalscorer highlighted, "We had the game in our hands after a good first half. In the second half, we had our chances, and it leaves a sour taste because when you don’t finish the game off, you end up paying for it. We have to think about the next one. In the end, we have to be more confident in that situation and make sure the cross doesn’t come in. Personally, I’m feeling quite good and I'm delighted to have scored in front of the fans, but the overall feeling is bittersweet."

Meanwhile, defender Badé spoke about how the match was decided by small details: "We did what we had to do, and once again, it’s little things in the final minutes that punish us. They scored that goal and it hurts because we had worked for it, but now we have to think about Saturday and lift our heads quickly. We should have held on to that result, but in the end they equalised. If the referee says there’s no foul, then there’s no foul. We always have to be ready for the next match, we can improve things, and we need to keep working because we have 13 games left."

Finally, Carmona revealed, "We started well and went into the break with the lead, but in the second half, they took advantage of their aerial game and ended up scoring. For us, it was an important match because we could’ve moved up [the league table], and we're all feeling a bit upset. But in five days, we’ll go again. We’re three points behind [Mallorca], and we’ll definitely bounce back. The youth players are here to help, and the results are showing that. I’m as happy for Kike’s goal as if it were mine."
