Sevilla FC Women face Real Sociedad away from home, looking for back-to-back victories

Sevilla FC Women are back in action this weekend with a trip to San Sebastián to face Real Sociedad. Last time out, before the international break, they beat Valencia CF 3-1 to finish a tricky February on a positive note. David Losada's side will look to replicate that brilliant performance as Liga F gets back underway. Standing in their way is a Real Sociedad side who, despite starting February with an impressive 2-0 away win against Madrid CFF, come into the game on the back of four straight defeats in all competitions. They lost twice to Real Madrid, either side of a defeat to Deportivo La Coruña, before falling short in the Basque derby at the San Mamés. José Luis Sánchez Vera now sees his side sit in sixth position but with sights set on moving up the league table. Despite their poor form, this will not be an easy game for Sevilla FC Women, traditionally they have struggled at this ground.

In the reverse fixture, which was the opening game of the season, Sevilla FC Women claimed all three points thanks to a goal from Natalia Padilla Bidas and a brace from Fatou Kanteh, as they won 3-2. However it is worth noting that both sides will be without some key players this time around.

The Liga F Matchday 20 fixture will kick off at 18:30 CET at Zubieta with referee Ylenia Sánchez Miguel in charge. As usual, it will be possible to follow the game on our Twitch channel and Sevilla FC Radio, as well as on DAZN.
