SAÚL REGISTERS SIXTH ASSIST OF THE SEASON AND BECOMES PLAYER WITH THE SECOND MOST PER GAME

Saúl Ñíguez is proving himself to be an important asset of the team both on and off the pitch. Since returning from his injury, he has been an instrumental part of García Pimienta's midfield. His assist for Ejuke's goal last night was his sixth of the season, three more than any other Sevilla player; Juanlu has three.

These six assists see Saúl join the list of the five players with the most LaLiga assists this season. Lamine Yamal has the most with 11, followed by Iñaki Williams (8), Álex Baena and Raphina (both 7). Jude Bellingham, Sergi Cardona, Alex Berenguer and Dani Rodríguez also have six. It is worth highlighting the importance of Saúl's assists. Against Celta de Vigo, Girona and Real Sociedad, his assists provided the winning goal, while against Osasuna his assist rescued a point.
