SEVILLA FC SHOWCASES ITS WORK WITH ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE AT IBM THINK 2025

Sevilla Fútbol Club participated for the second year in a row in IBM Think 2025 to showcase its commitment to technological innovation and the strategic use of Artificial Intelligence within the organization. The club’s Chief Technology Officer, Elías Zamora, took part in a panel discussion focused on the use of Meta’s Llama AI model in Sevilla FC’s generative AI tools.

Joining Zamora on stage were Ricardo López Barquilla, Vice President of AI at Meta, and Ritika Gunnar, General Manager of Data and AI at IBM. Together, they explored real-world use cases of the Llama model that are transforming processes and boosting performance across various industries. In Sevilla FC’s case, Llama is integrated into the Scout Advisor tool, enhancing the efficiency of player report database queries.

Additionally, the club used its presence in Boston to strengthen ties with several organizations that are part of the AI Alliance—an international coalition of tech companies and institutions committed to promoting the ethical and open development of artificial intelligence, which Sevilla FC joined in March.
