CAPARRÓS: "WE WERE NOT AS CLINICAL AS THEM"

Joaquín Caparrós spoke following the defeat against Villarreal CF. On the 4-2 defeat at the Estadio de la Cerámica in our final game of the season, he began by saying, "It was a very strange game, a typical end of season game. We didn't start the game well, although we were able to react and we had more shots on goal and in the moments when we could have scored, we didn't have that luck and we were not clinical. We would have liked to get the three points but now following the end of the season, it is time to sit down and reflect." 

To finish, he said: "We were not as clinical as them. In football this is what makes the difference and I would have liked it to be the other way round. The season has ended and it is now time to think ahead to the next one, although it might seem far away it will come around quickly."
