ANTONIO CORDÓN ARRIVES TO MEET HIS NEW TEAM

Antonio Cordón has arrived in Sevilla. The club’s new Director of Professional Football stepped into our the club's base for the first time on Friday morning, ready to begin planning for the upcoming 2025/26 season. He was welcomed by Club President, José María del Nido Carrasco, who guided him through the facilities. They visited the training grounds, the first-team building, and the offices at the Estadio Jesús Navas Stadium, where Cordón met his new colleagues.  

Cordón gave the following speech to staff upon his introduction:

"Finally, I’m here. In previous years, I could have come, but the circumstances didn’t align. For me, being here—in what is already my home—is a challenge. I’m very excited and eager to get started. It’s true that I'm not a genie. The real genies are the workers around us. I always say that companies succeed when every employee performs at their best. Each of you, in your role, must strive to be number one—not just within the club, but in Sevilla, Andalusia, Spain, and Europe. If you all become the best at what you do, you’ll set an example for others to follow. The collective effort of everyone around the first team—the team that sustains us—will multiply exponentially. I am nothing without you. You are the most important part of this club, and you must prove it by being the best. Let’s go for it. This is an exciting challenge, and I’m convinced we’ll do it very well."
