Nico Pareja played his hundredth game in Saturday's derby. The Argentine was deligthed with how his journey with Sevilla FC has gone: "I feel very happy to be able to play 100 matches with this shirt, with this club that is so important for my life and my career. I'm very grateful. The fans have always shown me affection since I arrived. To be honest I've always changed club a lot, I was at Spartak the longest, two years. Here in Seville I found an incredible place for me and my family. I'm very happy in my fourth season after a tough year. There's no better way to celebrate your 100th game than in a derby, winning and with this team that I love so much".
"Hopefully I can play another hundred games with this shirt"
Things are going very well for the Argentine, who is a key member of the squad both on and off the pitch: "Fortunately I've had the confidence of the managers I've ended up working with: Sampaoli and Emery. It's the reward for work and consistency. Luckily the managers have seen my work and I've had the fortune to be able to count on them. I've also had the fortune of playing, something which wasn't easy because there have been really great players. I've grown a lot. It's been continuous. I'm getting on now but it was a case of arriving here and starting to learn. I've settled into top-level football. My individual growth has gone hand in hand with that of the club. A number of us who arrived in 2013 have grown. Sevilla has grown impressively too".
