Vicente Iborra was happy with his side's performance after beating Granada 2-0 at the Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán on Friday night.
A double from PH Ganso handed Sevilla a vital three points in the race for third place in La Liga, and the Los Nervionenses could have won by more had they converted more of their 26 attempts on goal.
Iborra said: "Our objective was to win and to bring back positivity, we were in control but we have to be more incisive in front of goal.
"We were lacking a cutting edge and need to take more of the multiple chances that we are creating.
"The scoreline suggests a tighter game that it was, we are working to improve on what we are missing.
"It's normal for the supporters to want more, we do too and we're working on achieving that."
Asked if speculation regarding the future of manager Jorge Sampaoli has affected the team, Iborra said: "It wasn't a diffult week for us, we are calm. The manager and the squad are very committed to what we are facing at present."
