VITOLO: “WE HAD THE MATCH UNDER CONTROL, IT'S A PAINFUL DRAW”

Vitolo returned to the starting eleven after overcoming his injury. But it wasn't a happy return due to a draw which was "painful. If we'd won we would have ensured the Champions League place. We're leaving sad, because we had the match under control and it was an unlucky move. We had the win in or hands and two important points got away because of an error"

The Spain international said that "we knew that they were a great team and they showed it... In the next match we'll give it everything although if will be very difficult. The final match is here at home and hopefully we won't have to play for it in that game. At the Bernabéu it will definitely be difficult, but not impossible. On a personal note, he commented that on his return he felt better as the match went on: "During the week I had two training sessions with the team and at first I felt it, but in the end I felt good and over the next week I'll feel better".
