CORCHIA, ON THE WAY TO JAPAN AFTER SIGNING A FOUR-YEAR DEAL

Sebastien Corchia passed his medical, after arriving in Seville on Wednesday afternoon, and came to the Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán first thing this morning to sign his contract.

His arrival right at the buzzer has meant that Corchia was unable to travel to Japan with the rest of his teammates since, having only arrived yesterday afternoon, it was impossible to secure his visa to enter Japan until Thursday morning. With that in mind, as soon as he'd signed, Corchia headed to Madrid to pick up the visa that was processed this very morning, and to fly on a scheduled flight to join up with the squad in Osaka.
