THE LEAGUE CAMPAIGN BEGINS AT HOME AGAINST RCD ESPANYOL

It's a repeat of the start of last season, in which Sevilla beat Espanyol in a thrilling match that finished 6-4

The campaign will begin as it did last season. The LaLiga Satander draw for the 17/18 season has ruled that Sevilla FC begin the championship against RCD Espanyol at the Sánchez-Pizjuán. The clash will take place on the weekend of the 19th-20th of August against the Barcelona based club, who also visited Nervión on the opening day of the 16/17 season. That match ended with a spectacular result of 6-4 to Sevilla.

The final match day fixtures have also been confirmed, which see Eduardo Berizzo's men host Deportivo Alavés at home on the weekend of the 19th-20th of May.
