Eduardo Berizzo faced an Emirates Cup interview in the hours leading up to the flight to London, where his team will face two fearsome opponents this weekend: "We want to find our best form. RB Leipzig and Arsenal are two top level opponents, as is the whole tournament itself. We are entering the stage of pre-season to find our footballing form and these matches will help us to adapt in this sense". All this, with the intention of making in impact in La Liga and fighting against the top teams: "It's a big challenge, to compete at the same level as the giants of La Liga. We want to compete with Madrid, Barcelona and Atlético, matching that power not only economically but also in a footballing sense".
Asked specifically about Arsenal, the Argentine heaped praise on the gunners: "They're dangerous opposition. A team built on possession-based football and their manager is a big advocate of that style. They're a great team who respect their philosophy and, for us, facing them and matching their footballing prowess will be a test". He also highlighted Arsene Wenger's career: "I know him from following his prestigious career. He has put forward, and installed a way of playing and has infused a great club with his philosophy. It will be a privilege to face them".
