Happy when leaving the field following Saturday's win against Málaga CF, Luis Fernando Muriel said: "it wasn't that we were stuggling, rather that we weren't creating clear-cut chances. We dominated, they had few chances, maybe at the end they had something, but we dominated at all times. We couldn't put it in but we managed it in the end".
"It's a really important win because it keeps us up there"
The scorer of the second goal - his first in official competition for Sevilla FC - had a dedication to make: "All of my family were in the director's box, my daughters, my wife and I'm dedicating it to them, for the support they always give me. I'm happy to have scored, but above all else with the win, which is really important because it keeps us high in the table".
"I try to take advantage of every chance. I have another striker in Wissam whose doing very good things breathing down my neck and it's great to have the opportunity I have every time I step onto the field. I try to do things well so the coach can rely on me," the striker concluded.
