ESCUDERO: "WE NEED TO LOOK CLOSELY AT OUR RECENT PERFORMANCES AND CORRECT SEVERAL MISTAKES"

Sergio Escudero spoke on the pitch just moments after the final whistle of the clash at the Mestalla.  He was self-critical following the team's defeat: "It has been a horrible week. Things cannot continue as they are, we need to closely analyse what we do, but we cannot lose like this.  We conceded goals that were preventable and weren't able to find the goal when the opportunities presented themselves. If we want to move up in the table, something needs to change". 

The left-back added: "I don't believe that we're in crisis. We're confident in the team but we need to look closely at how we've recently performed and correct several aspects of our game".
