Borja Lasso spoke to the media following victory in Cartagena: "We had to win because these games can be difficult if you come out relaxed. We took it very seriously, with intensity and enthusiasm. We had to re-find winning ways and we've come out raring to go and controlled the game from the start".

"Wins always help with confidence but if anything defines this team it's that in bad moments we stand up and fight back as soon as possible. We need to regain that positive attitude and now look to Leganés".

On an individual level, the homegrown talent seemed very happy with his 90 minutes and hopeful to continue helping the team: "Personally, I'm going to try and take advantage of every minute they give me. I felt comfortable and I'm going to try and continue helping the team".
