Clement Lenglet bagged the first goal for Sevilla FC in last night's clash with Spartak Moscow. The Frenchman couldn't hide his happiness following his goal and the team's triumph: “It's my first Champions League goal. My parents and brothers are here tonight and I have been able to dedicate this goal to them in a match that was extremely important for us".
“Two matches remain - it's important for us to be humble”
Above all, Lenglet wanted to shine a light on the work of all his teammates: "Up until the seventieth minute, we did a great job. We could have scored a third goal, but instead, we conceded one. The final moments of the match were far from easy, but we played an impressive seventy minutes, to say the least".
Finally, the player spoke about qualification for the knock-out stages: "Two matches remain, it's important that we are humble, but tonight's victory is a step in the right direction".
