SEVILLA-BETIS REGATTA KICKS OFF WITH SEVILLA LOOKING TO RULE THE GUADALQUIVIR ONCE AGAIN

This Thursday marked the official opening of the Sevilla-Betis Regatta. 

There will be four different contests to put Sevilla FC to the test: Mens' Firsts (13:00pm), Womens' Firsts (12:00pm), Mens' Youth Crew (11:15am) and the Mens' Senior Crew (10:35am).  

The mens' and womens' Firsts races will be 6000m and youth and senior races will cover 1000m. All races will start on the stretch between San Jerónimo and Alamillo Bridge (Puente de Alamillo). They will finish at the Delicias Dock, next to Sevilla Aquarium.  

Through history, Sevilla FC has dominated the Regatta, with 30 wins dwarfing Betis' 20. But with Betis on a run of great form since 2010, Sevilla's crew will be looking to reclaim the Guadalquivir once again this weekend.
