This Thursday marked the official opening of the Andalucían Football Federation's 2017/18 cycle of coach training in the University of San Isidoro. At the inauguration, Eduardo Berizzo made a special appearance - having a chat with Betis boss, Quique Satién. The two coaches debated about football under the watchful gaze of aspiring coaches. Eduardo Herrera, Chairman of the Andalucían Football Federation, Francisco López, director of studies for the Federation and Vicente Bejarano, Chairman of the Andalucían coaching school were also present.

Sevilla Atlético player, Alejandro Pozo - it should be noted - is a student in the course and no sooner after arriving at the event, Berizzo was quick to greet and chat with the youngster.

In his own speech, Berizzo explained how he came to understand coaching: "I learnt to be a coach on the field. It's a profession that demands a constant learning process. A lot depends on your attitude and outlook. Coaching in La Liga is a huge responsibility. It's a beautiful and demanding job. When all is said and done it's very satisfying".

He also had the chance to speak about Sevilla FC: "This club reminds me a lot of Argentina. The praise and criticisms are intensified by the passion that football brings with it. That's why I always act the same way whether we win or lose", he said.
