The Brazilian football season was rounded off this Monday with a ceremony in the headquarters of the Brazilian Football Confederation in Río de Janeiro, which hosted the 2017 Brasileirao Awards - the annual gala which recognises the season's outstanding players and teams from the Serie A season.
Guilherme Arana's presence (representing his current club, SC Corinthians) will be of particular interest to Sevilla fans, with - as was confirmed last Friday - the young left-back due to arrive in Sevilla shortly to finish off his medical and complete his agreement to become a Sevilla FC player until 2022.
Arana was a star of the show, being included in the dream Brasileirao XI - a competition he has just won for the second time at just 20 years old. The full eleven was as follows: Vanderlei (Santos), Balbuena (Corinthians), Geromel (Gremio), Fagner (Corinthians), Arana (Corinthians), Arthur (Gremio), Bruno Silva (Botafogo), Thiago Neves (Cruzeiro), Hernanes (Sao Paulo), Jô (Corinthians) and Dourado (Fluminense).
