Vincenzo Montella spoke about his side's 1-0 loss to Alavés: "We are disgusted by the result. We have to work more and there is a good predisposition to do so but we have to improve a lot in both our game and our efficiency."

"We've created chances in the second-half and we could have drawn but obviously there's a lot of work ahead to improve."

Montella added: "There were things to improve and that's why we've come. We've seen improvement but there is still so much left to do. Wednesday we play Atlético in the Cup which is a very strong team which we need to start to think about improving for and then on to the next game".
