SARABIA: "WE NEEDED A RESULT LIKE THAT"

Pablo Sarabia didn't hide his delight at a win against Atlético in the Copa del Rey: "We needed a result like that and above all against a strong opponent. We were hurt just like our fans and I think the team has taken a step forward; there's nothing else to do but keep going like this. In the second-leg we need to have another good match to get us through and finish off the job at home".

The Madrid-native put a lot of importance on mounting a comeback after the hosts' goal: "We've won against a powerful opponent, we reacted to the goal which for me was unfair - and that's crucial. We've come back, we've had chances and that encourages us and united us even more. We continued working on the same lines but football's all about runs and we needed that win to put an end to the negative spell we had experienced".
