"We reacted together and this is what we need to take forward with us"

Luis Muriel was amongst the starting 11 in tonight's clash with Atlético Madrid and spoke about Sevilla's victory in the first leg of the Copa del Rey quarter-finals: "It has been a match whereby we were in order, we were serious and we put everything we had into playing with spirit. The result is a just prize for what we did in those 90 minutes. I was comfortable with plenty of space and I'm coming away from this game extremely pleased with both the team and on a personal level".

The Colombian spoke about the team's reaction following the conceded goal: "When they scored against us we saw it as bad luck. We reacted and we were awarded for the work we did. This should be what we carry forward with us into future games".

Muriel finalizaba añadiendo la importancia de dejarlo todo en el campo: "Era fundamental dar más de lo que teníamos, ayudar a los compañeros y hoy lo hemos hecho para todos. El premio ante la situación que teníamos nos llena de moral y de satisfacción".

To conclude, Muriel spoke about the importance about putting everything you've got into the game: "It was fundamental to give everything we had so that we could help our teammates, and that's what we've done today. This result fills us with confidence".
