José Castro spoke to SFC Radio just after finding out Sevilla's Copa del Rey semi-final draw: "We have to respect Leganés, who knocked out Real Madrid of all people. But it's true that within what was in the pot we had to avoid Barcelona, which we're happy to have done".
The tie has already got the fans excited, something Castro sees as natural: "To get to a final would be something marvellous. We've enjoyed the occasion before and we're really close. We know they're a good side who are having a great season but we can see we're close and for us that's the more important thing". It also comes at a high point in the season for the side: "Football doesn't give you anything. We've changed in six days but we couldn't have done it without a squad with so much quality. Now we have to take advantage, from here to the end of the season, so we continue on these lines and achieve our aims".
For the Chairman, there's no such thing as luck in the draw, only dedication: "You have to make your own luck and you can only come in with effort, sacrifice and dedication. It isn't a question of working hard, but always going for objectives beyond our financial resources. Sevilla continues and will continue to triumph and achieve more important objectives because, at this club, we always want more". To finish up, he wanted to look ahead to the second-leg atmosphere: "I already see our home full of Sevillistas with scarves, singing our anthem and carrying our players forwards. Of course, we can't count our chickens before they've hatched because in order to beat them we'll need to be better in both matches".
