An indignant Luis Muriel spoke to the press following a cruel draw against Getafe in the Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán: "We worked hard against a side who closed all the spaces well and we still managed to score a goal. The win escapes us in the last play of the match because of a refereeing mistake. You can clearly see the foul on Sergio by Cala. That's a foul here and on any other pitch. The match and a whole week's work gets away from you because of that. We said that to the referee, that we worked hard all week to play a difficult game and three points are taken away from us because of his mistake. He wouldn't respond".
Talking about his own performance, Muriel said: "confidence is key. Feeling loved and important within the team is fundamental for me and I'm turning it round on the pitch".
On Sevilla FC's situation: "We're very happy with our work in the last matches. We go away with a bitter taste in the mouth for this last match which escaped us for a fluke on the pitch but we have to continue like this, working like this and we'll recover in the league".
