Clement Lenglet was extremely pleased following Sevilla's victory this Sunday against Girona FC: "It was a tough match against an opponent that played well, but we got what was most important and bagged the victory. We're an ambitious team, we see it every day, we always want to win and this time was difficult, but we stuck at it".
The Frenchman highlighted the key role played by teammate Sergio Rico in getting the victory: "We were a little slow in the first-half, Rico saved us many times and I am really happy for him, he is a great goalkeeper. The second-half started well with the goal, and after that, we had several opportunities although we weren't able to find the back of the net. It was difficult, but we fought for the three points. At times, what's important is getting those three points".
"We're very happy and we hope that the fans are too with the upcoming final. We are moving forward in 3 competitions and we need to keep going, a lot of matches remain and we have the capability to make this a great season", he concluded.
