Following Sevilla's latest training session this Friday, Nervionenses coach Vincenzo Montella spoke to the media to evaluate being drawn against Bayern Munich in the quarter-finals of the Champions League. "I'd rather have not got a Spanish team at this stage so I'm glad to get Bayern. They're one of the four best teams in the world and have shown it in past years but at this stage in the competition all teams are strong. I'm happy because I've never played in their stadium".
There's one key for the coach: "try to play on our own terms. We all have to improve but also enjoy it. We're really happy to be experiencing moments like this and playing matches at this level. They're definitely favourites but we have to think about ourselves. I don't like talking about percentages but even the smallest possibility is enough because we'll enjoy it and fight for it", he added.
He also declared himself very happy with Óscar Arias: "It's great to see our Director of Football at the top level. He works hard and he's a Sevillista, he lives it, so I'm very happy for him". He finally lamented just a three-day gap between the first-leg and a league clash with FC Barcelona. "It's just three days. I would have preferred a day more to rest. It's also a detail to take into account".
