MONTELLA: “THE TEAM COULD HAVE DONE MORE”

Vincenzo Montella declared himself "disappointed with the result" following defeat against CD Leganés in Butarque, stating that the "team could have done more" in his post-match press conference.

That being said, he also recognised the effect of fatigue following Tuesday's trip to Old Trafford: "I think you could see the fatigue. I saw it on a physical and mental level. We have to get used to playing twice a week".

Giving his evaluation of the game: "we started with rhythm but the goal hurt and we weren't able to recover".
