Joaquín Caparrós has returned home. The new Sevilla FC coach comes back to Nervión to close a circle but with the clear objective of getting into Europe in the four matches that remain. "It's a great satisfaction to be here in my home. I'm very happy because Sevilla has remembered me. It's true that it's a difficult situation because we have few matches left but what's clear is that I was wanting to come back and that I'd be here when they needed me... I'm grateful to the Club because being a Sevillista is something great, just like having this opportunity...", he said to open his official presentation.
Caparrós seemed optimistic about the team's chances thanks to the talent the squad has: "There's a lot of quality in the squad, a lot of international footballers. What happens is that football enters a certain dynamic... But I think we have a fantastic squad, with varied players. We're going to fight... We're going to give everything to try and achieve the objectives the Club set at the start of the season".
"There's a fantastic squad with varied players, so we're going to fight... We'll give everything to achieve our aims"
On another matter, he said: "I'm eager to get training, I'm eager to see the players... There are four matches left but we're going to give our blood, sweat and tears. Not just us but the footballers too, because when you have talent and quality you can do a lot more".
