If there's anything Joquín Caparrós has had clear since retaking the reigns this Sunday at first team training, it's that the most important thing is to raise the spirits of a squad plagued by a poor run of results in the last weeks. Without too much time to begin implementing new tactical ideas, the Utrera-born coach looked for help along a mental recovery to keep the legs moving for this Friday's match with Real Sociedad.
In that regard, the coach could be seen directing training with his well-known intensity, asking his players to give everything in every exercise. He also led some games of ball work that cracked a few smiles and jokes from players with each point. Everyone available trained, including Steven Nzonzi, who had the permission of the Club to travel to London this Sunday for personal reasons - meaning he could not train with Caparrós for the first time yesterday.
The team will train again this Tuesday at 11:00 CET.
