Roque Mesa started for the first time at the Sánchez-Pizjuán for Friday night's win against Real Sociedad: "It's important to have won and to regain that sensation from picking up three points. We were indebted to the fans, we only have a few left and we're a step away from being able to put ourselves in Europe. We have a last effort left and we deserved the three points today".
Caparrós' arrival, he suggested, changed the team's mentality: "The gaffer wanted this since he arrived, for us to be strong at home and we give ourselves that sensation of playing here. That's what's happened today, we came out fired-up and with things very clear".
On a personal side of things: "I'd been here nearly two and a half months without competing, without match experience. I'm good and the boss has placed his faith in me, which I'm very grateful for".
