Joaquín Caparrós, Sevilla FC coach, was frustrated following the team's failure to bag a victory against Real Betis this evening: "I believe that we've lost the two points, I think we were superior to Betis and the stats will show that. We reacted well following those tough, first few minutes and we pushed until we were ahead. In the only link up play they had they equalised and we leave disgusted by that. But we will make a return to the Europa League next year, the Club's objective has been achieved".
Caparrós also spoke about what a derby means to a Club, and the part its played in helping Sevilla FC: "For me, a derby is the most important match there is. My club has given me the chance to lead, and I cannot thank them enough, but above all, I've had the opportunity to put right the negative dynamic that the team were experiencing".
"It was unthinkable to go to our stadium in the last match shackled. We've won a week of future squad planning", he concluded.
